Mumbai’s batters dominate the second innings

Coming down to the chase, Yastika Bhatia scored the highest with 41 runs as Mumbai Indians chased down a target of 106 runs in 15 overs while Hayley Matthews slammed 32 and Nat Sciver-Brunt scored an unbeaten 23.

Hayley Matthews continues all-round performance

For Delhi Capitals, Alice Capsey and Tara Norris scalped one wicket each. Chasing a target of 106, Mumbai Indians got off to an electrifying start as their openers Hayley Matthews and Yastika Bhatia tore apart Delhi bowlers all around the ground. Matthews hammered Shikha Pandey for back-to-back three boundaries.

Saika Ishaque holds a purple cap

Earlier in the match, Mumbai Indians bowlers destroyed DC’s batters. The purple cap holder, Saika Ishaque, Issey Wong, and Hayley Matthews bagged three-wicket apiece.

Meg Lanning scored the highest with 43 runs off 41 balls.

Earlier, Delhi Capitals skipper Meg Lanning had won the toss and elected to bat first against Mumbai Indians.
