Having won the opening fixture, Rajasthan Royals looked right on track to register their second consecutive win at home against the Delhi Capitals. What looked like a low scoring innings at the halfway stage turned into a high scoring match as the home side registered a competitive 185/5 in the end.

Special mention to Rajasthan’s in form batter Riyan Parag who is looking like a man on a mission this year. Riyan Parag’s scintillating 84* off just 45 balls helped the team put up a healthy total on the board.
Things looked risky at the beginning wth RR losing out on both of their openers Jos Buttler (11) and Yashasvi Jaiswal (5) at a collective total of just 16 runs.
However, it was Parag who maintained a strike rate of 186 and fired the team to a satisfying total. This was Parag’s best ever score in T20 cricket which shows that the 22-year-old has a lot more to offer in the future for his team.
