FC Barcelona vs Real Madrid: The El Clasico, a pre-season ‘friendly’ between Real Madrid and Barcelona did not remain very ‘friendly’ on ground. Vinicius Junior and Sergio Busquets almost came to blows increasing the tension between the two clubs.
It started from a rash tackle on Vinicius Junior after which Rodrygo and Sergio Busquets were seen having a go at each other. The pair of Vini and Sergio grabbed each other’s shirts and had to be separated.
Eden Hazard and Antonio Rudiger also joined the party. While Hazard was trying to be the peacemaker holding Busquets, tension arose when the center-backs Rudiger and Araujo got into a heated tangle.

Barcelona continued their good start to the US pre-season tour and got a narrow 1-0 victory. Rafinha the €59 million new signings turned out to be the difference maker, coming up with the only goal of the game.
Manager Xavi Hernandez spoke to the media after the game saying, “The first half was brilliant, but the second half was complicated. We came here to win and we did it. We suffered towards the end of the game but I am still satisfied with today’s match. We were the better team. At Barcelona, there are no friendly matches… We always want to win, especially against Real Madrid.”
Even though the result didn’t come in favor of the Los Blancos, coach Carlo Ancelotti was happy with his side’s performance. Notably, Madrid were without their top-scorer of last season, Karim Benzema and they also failed to put a single shot on target in the entire 90 minutes of the game.
The Madrid coach said, “We were better on the ball in the second half.”
FC Barcelona have made a big statement by winning a match over Real Madrid in the beginning of the season.
