New Delhi: After Rajasthan Royals (RR) lost their both the openers Jos Buttler and Yashasvi Jaiswal in the power play in the chase of 178 against Gujarat Titans (GT).

Royals’ skipper Sanju Samson then stepped up for his side and scored a blinder to counter the damage that Mohammed Shami and Hardik Pandya.

Sanju then took the command on his own and struck GT’s bowler all over the park. Sanju Samson smashed 3 back-to-back sixes off Titans’ magical spinner Rashid Khan. After that he scored his 19th Indian premier League (IPL) fifty before he was sacked by the debutant Noor Khan of Aghanistan.

Noor bags first wicket on debut
Debutant Noor bagged his first wicket of IPL 2023 and the most important one for the Gujarat side.
Earlier, Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson won the toss and elected to bowl first against the Gujarat Titans in the Narendra Modi Stadium on Sunday.
