Tokyo: The BWF World Championships is escalating and is already done with the pre-quarterfinals of the tournament. India started with a 27 members squad and many have been showing exemplary performance but some of them have ended their campaign so far.

HS Prannoy:

Prannoy has left everyone in awe after a brilliant performance in the pre-quarterfinals of the tournament. The 3-year-old defeated young player Lakshya Sen who was aiming to get his maiden World Championships title. Prannoy is headed towards creating history as he has never won any medal in the tournament. He is the only Indian player in the men’s singles category.

MR Arjun and D. Kapila:

The Indian duo played spectacularly in the pre-quarterfinals and stormed into the next stage. They will fight against M.Ahsan and H. Setiawan.

C. Shetty and S.Rankireddy:

The Indian pair has been flawless in the tournament. They are the medal contenders for India and currently, would be looking to get their hands on the maiden medal. In the recently concluded Commonwealth Games 2022, the duo gold medal.

There is no player left in the Women’s singles, Women’s doubles and Mixed doubles events of the tournament.
