New Delhi: Hong Kong will be the sixth team to participate in the upcoming Asia Cup 2022 and this will be part of Group A. team India and Pakistan are part of this group and Hong Kong would compete with the two arch rivals in the tournament to go ahead.
Hong Kong has qualified after marking a 8 wickets win against UAE after they chased the target of 148 runs without much troubles.

Players who shine for Hong Kong
Yasim Murtaza scored 58 runs in 43 balls and Nizakar Khan supported him with 39 runs. Another high scorer for Hong Kong was Babar Hayat who garnered 38 runs in 26 balls.
After kicking out UAE from the tournament, the final teams have been decided and here are the squads for the Group A of the tournament.
