Dinesh Karthik is experienced
However, one of the biggest debates for the semi-finals in Adelaide is the position of the wicketkeeping. For which two players Dinesh Karthik and Rishabh Pant are in the queue. While Karthik played the first four matches of the group stage for India, Pant replaced the veteran wicketkeeper-batsman in the final match against Zimbabwe.
However, he got out after scoring just 3 runs in this match. Ahead of the semi-finals, former South African batsman AB de Villiers has put an end to the debate and said that he would like to go with Dinesh Karthik’s experience.

De Villiers said this
De Villiers said on his official YouTube channel, “It is difficult for me. No doubt, DK should be in Team India’s playing XI. Knock-out phase. DK is experienced, I would like to take him. But here I want Pant in the team because of the curveball. I’ll find another place for him. Although I don’t know which way leads to that. De Villiers said that Rishabh Pant has scored a century in Test cricket in Australia, and India needs his firepower in the middle order.”
