Turmeric

That apart, papaya contains enzymes that can exfoliate and brighten the skin. Just ¼ cup of mashed ripe papaya applied on the face can work wonders. Onion

Loaded with zinc, onion is extremely helpful in keeping dandruff at bay. It helps in reduction of scalp hair oil, cutting down on hair loss. It helps in treating patchy baldness. This remedy is most effective when the onion is rubbed on the scalp till it becomes red followed by the application of honey. Alternatively, it can be made into juice which should be mixed with ginger and oils like olive, castor or aloe and applied on the scalp.

Garlic
