Hara Chana Kebab: Hare Chane ka Kebab is a protein-rich and healthful kebab recipe that goes well with a cup of chai in the evening. These kebabs are ideal as an appetiser or late snack. Hara Channa can be substituted for Kabuli Channa or Rajma. Try adding veggies like carrots, beans, peas, or paneer for added nourishment.
Shallow-fried till crisp and golden, chana dal, spinach leaves, coriander leaves, and mint leaves are mixed with flavorful spices. Serve as a snack or appetiser with your favourite dip.
Hara Chana Kebab: Ingredients
- 1 bowl Hara chana (green chickpea)
- 1/2 cup Spinach leaves (chopped)
- 2 tbsp Mint leaves (chopped)
- A handful of Coriander leaves (chopped)
- 1 tsp Ginger-garlic paste
- 2 Green chillies
- 1 tsp Roasted cumin seed
- 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp Garam masala
- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- A pinch of Hing
- 1/2 tsp Haldi
- 2 tbsp Rice flour
- A few drops of Lemon juice
- Oil, to shallow fry
Method
- To begin, place all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until a smooth and consistent paste is formed.
2. When the paste is finished, divide it into 10-12 little balls. Then, using your palms, flatten the balls.
3. Heat oil in a non-stick skillet and shallow fried all the kebabs till crisp and brown. P.S. The kebabs can also be air-fried.
4. Serve with your preferred dip and enjoy!
