Cabbage Chana Dal Tikki: Ingredients
- Chana dal 1 cup
- Cabbage finely chopped 1/2 cup
- Curd half cup
- Gram flour 2 spoons
- Green chili 2 finely chopped
- Mint leaves 12 -15 leaves
- Turmeric – 1/4 tsp
- Cumin powder – 1.5 tsp
- Salt as per taste
- Oil for roasting tikkis
First of all, to make Chana Dal Tikki, soak Chana Dal in water for 4-5 hours.
After that, separate the lentils from the water and add a little water in the mixie and grind coarsely with green chilies.
Now finely chop the cabbage, green chillies and mint leaves.
After this, put the lentil mixture in a big bowl and add chopped cabbage, chili and mint to it.
After this, mix salt, cumin powder, gram flour, curd, etc. in the mixture and mix it well.
Now take this prepared mixture in equal quantity and press it with hand to make tikki shape.
Now put some oil in a non stick pan and place the tikkis in it and cook till they turn golden brown from both the sides.
