Besan Halwa Recipe: Ingredients
- Gram flour – 1 cup
- Ghee – ½ cup
- Sugar – ½ cup
- Milk – 2 cups
- Cardamom – 6 to 7 (powdered)
- Almonds, cashews, and pistachios finely chopped as required
Method:
Making Besan Halwa is very easy. For this, we have to first heat the pan or wok. Then put ghee in it and heat it. Then add gram flour. Besan has to be roasted on medium gas. Keep in mind that keep stirring the gram flour continuously, when the colour of the gram flour turns golden brown while roasting, then sugar has to be added to it.

This mistake should not happen:
Gram flour is completely roasted, its identity is that it will start smelling. Usually, it takes about 15 minutes for the gram flour to be completely roasted. After adding sugar, add milk to it. Keep stirring it on a low flame. During this, eliminate the lumps or kernels falling in it. After this add dry fruits to it. Mixing well, halwa can be eaten plain or with tea or milk.
