Aloo Methi Ki Sabji Recipe: It is very tasty to eat vegetables of fenugreek and potato in winter. But sometimes fenugreek curry turns bitter. That’s why today we will tell you such a recipe for potato-fenugreek which can be prepared in just 15 minutes, which will not be bitter along with being rich in taste. Aloo Methi Ki Sabji Recipe: Ingredients

  • Potato – 4 small
  • Oil 3 tbsp
  • Green chili – 2 (finely chopped)
  • Coriander powder, mustard seeds and cumin seeds ½ – ½ tsp
  • Red chillies, turmeric and garam masala ¼ – ¼ tsp
  • Optional – 5 cloves if you eat garlic
  • Salt – ½ tsp
  • add fenugreek last

Method

Heat oil on a pan. If you want to add garlic, then add it first and fry till it turns brown. Then add mustard seeds and cumin seeds. After a few seconds, add green chilies and potatoes and leave them on medium heat for two to four minutes. Do not roast mustard seeds and cumin seeds too much, otherwise the vegetable will turn bitter. After this add all the spices like red chili, salt, turmeric, coriander, garam masala. Add fenugreek in the last and keep it covered on low flame for only 5 minutes. Remove the lid and check if the potatoes have melted, then the vegetable is ready. Eat it with roti, paratha and enjoy.

Note: Keep in mind that after peeling the potatoes, they have to be cut into small pieces. Separate the stalks of fenugreek, wash its leaves and cut them beforehand. The most important thing is to keep the amount of oil high so that the vegetable will not be bitter and wash the fenugreek thoroughly in salt water before making it.
