World’s Biggest Blood Donation Drive: A blood donation record will be set on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday (September 17). On this day, there is a plan to collect one lakh units of blood across the country. The Union Health Ministry has sent a letter to all states and union territories informing them about this campaign. On this day, the Blood Donation Amrit Mahotsav will begin. Not only that, but the way real-time data of corona vaccination is seen. Similarly, on September 17, blood donation data will be live updated on the Ministry of Health’s website.

Meanwhile, many Bollywood celebs have taken to their social media profiles to support the event, including Tip-Tip Barsa fame Raveena Tandon, heart-throb Vidyut Jamwal, etc.

According to the information, the Ministry of Health stated in a letter that this campaign will continue until National Voluntary Blood Donation Day, which is October 1. By participating in this campaign, any healthy person over the age of 18 can donate blood voluntarily. This can be accomplished by registering for voluntary blood donation on the Aarogya Setu portal. This registration has already begun.

The blood banks have been instructed to register and update their data on the Central Government’s e-Raktkosh portal. The stock will be displayed on the e-Rakt Kosh portal according to the blood group available in all government and private blood banks, and common people will be able to check the stock on this portal as well. The blood donor will be given a participation certificate.

There are approximately 3900 blood banks in the country, both government and private. For blood donation you can log on to www.eraktkosh.in, www.mbdd.in and Aarogya Setu App.
