Weather report update: Western disturbances are expected to bring rain and snow to North Indian mountains today. Its impact is palpable in North India. The cold is becoming increasingly severe in North India’s plains. On the other hand, rain is possible in many South Indian states even today.

Temperatures are rapidly dropping in many states, including Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Jharkhand. The situation is that cold weather arrived in the second week of December.

For the next few days, the India Meteorological Department predicts rain and snowfall in the mountains of Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Ladakh, Jammu-Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. Meanwhile, the weather pattern may change in the next three to four days as the Western Disturbance moves beyond North Pakistan and its surrounding areas.

Temperatures drops

Trains are also being delayed as a result of the fog. As a result, the passengers encountered difficulties.

Light to heavy rain is expected in a few places across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, South Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, Central Maharashtra and Southwest Madhya Pradesh, and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, according to private weather forecasting agency Skymet Weather. Because of the moderate winds, Delhi’s air quality index will remain in the moderate range.
