Lok Sabha was plunged into chaos on Wednesday afternoon when two individuals leaped into the House chamber. Early reports suggested that these individuals were carrying gas canisters. Describing the security breach, a Member of Parliament mentioned the sudden appearance of these two individuals and the emergence of yellow smoke within the chamber.

Interestingly, this breach occurred on the anniversary of the 2001 Parliament attack, when armed terrorists invaded the Parliament building. Subsequent to this security breach, Lok Sabha was adjourned, and the MPs were swiftly evacuated.”

The MPs described a concerning incident where individuals sprayed an unknown gas in the Lok Sabha chamber, causing irritation and discomfort.

Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury stated, “Two young men jumped from the gallery and something was hurled by them from which gas was emitting. They were caught by MPs, they were brought out by security personnel. House was adjourned till 2 pm. This is certainly a security breach because today we observed the death anniversary of people who sacrificed their lives in 2001 (Parliament attack)…”

Trinamool Congress leader Kakoli Dastidar stated that unidentified individuals jumped from the gallery, shouting slogans and spraying an unknown substance.
