Tragic! Teacher Fatally Stabbed, Three Kids Critically Injured After Thieves’ Intrusion

A 36-year-old teacher was fatally attacked by seven assailants during a robbery bid.

Tragedy struck in Shahjahanpur when a 36-year-old teacher was fatally attacked by seven assailants. Additionally, three children were severely injured during the robbery bid at the teacher’s residence, said the police on Tuesday.

During the incident that occurred on Monday night, the group of robbers broke into Alok Kumar Gupta’s residence in the Katra area in Shahjahanpur, stated the Superintendent of Police Ashok Kumar Meena.

Meena further reported that the accused was physically assaulted by the intruders when he woke up after hearing the noise. Alok was attacked with sharp-edged weapons and killed on the spot. 

Several other family members of the deceased including Alok’s wife Khusbu, his father Sudhir Gupta, brother Prashant and Ruchi (Prashant’s wife) were gravely injured during the incident. Additionally, three children also fell prey to the attack by the assailants, the SP said. 

The SP further added that the body of the deceased has been sent for post-mortum and a case against the culprits has been lodged. The police officials have also formed teams in order to nab the people involved in conducting the heinous crime.

Meanwhile, three days ago, a 50-year-old receptionist at a private firm was fatally stabbed in the Sarita Vihar area while making efforts to resist a robbery bid. During the incident, the victim sustained stab injuries and was transferred to a hospital. However, he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
