Traffic Police Advisory: Avoid These 4 Major Roads In Bengaluru Today Ahead of RCB Vs DC Match

Parking will be restricted on various roads, while commuters can park at specified locations. The Bengaluru traffic police have urged the public to cooperate. The match is scheduled to start at 7:30 pm.

Before the crucial Indian Premier League (IPL) match between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Delhi Capitals (DC) at RCB’s home ground in Bengaluru on Sunday, the city’s traffic authorities have released guidance for commuters.

The game will be held at Bengaluru’s M Chinnaswamy Stadium, located on MG Road, close to Cubbon Park. The advisory specifies which roads to steer clear of and outlines parking limitations. Additionally, the city’s traffic police have informed commuters about accessible parking areas.

In anticipation of the IPL cricket match at Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru City Traffic arrangements have been organized to facilitate smooth traffic flow on May 12, 2024, from 3 pm to 11 pm.

Parking restrictions will be enforced on the following roads:

  • Queens Road, MG Road, MG Road to Cubbon Road, Rajbhavan Road
  • Central street Road, Cubbon Road, St Marks Road, Museum Road
  • Kasturiba Road, Ambedkar Veedi Road, Trinity Jn, Lavelle Road
  • Vittal Malya Road, Kings Road and Nrupathunga road

Commuters can park at the following locations:

  • St Joseph Indian School Ground
  • UB City Parking lot
  • BMTC TTMC Shivajinagara 1st Floor and OLD KGID Building
  • Kings Road (Inside Cubbon Park)

The Bengaluru traffic police have appealed to the public to cooperate with the advisory. The IPL match between RCB and DC is scheduled to commence at 7:30 pm on May 12.
