A 25-year-old boy hailing from the national capital on Sunday passed away while enjoying a slide at the Words of Wonder Park, Noida. The reason behind the death is still unknown, according to the Noida police.

The police have identified the deceased as Dhananjay Maheshwari, resident of Delhi’s Adarsh Nagar.

A senior police official privy to the development stated that the Dhananjay left at 11 a.m from the house with his friends including Anshul Gupta, Raghav Gupta, Sagar Gupta and Piyush Lamba to visit Words of Wonder Park located in Noida Sector-38A.

“The deceased friends informed that his health deteriorated while enjoying rides in the water park following which he sat on the ground. Soon after this, he felt unconscious. His friends rushed him to the hospital where Dhananjay was declared brought dead” he said.

The police said that the reason behind the death is still unknown. “The investigation is going on in the incident. Further details will be shared once the post mortem reports come in,” police added.
