Kanpur: Ramesh Awasthi the BJP candidate for Kanpur Lok Sabha constituency, led a historic procession on Saturday before filing his nomination, demonstrating his strength to opponents. The march rang around the Collector’s office, with enthusiastic slogans.
A massive public gathering was also conducted with Deputy principal Minister Keshav Maurya as the principal guest and thousands of people invigorated the crowd with enthusiastic chanting. Deputy Chief Minister Maurya remarked “The people of Kanpur have already given their approval to Ramesh Awasthi’s historic victory”.
After decades all main Kanpur leaders united on one stage at a public meeting to send a strong message of unity inside the party. During the public meeting, Deputy Chief Minister Maurya launched a furious attack on the opposition. He also advised BJP workers on how to assure Ramesh Awasthi’s landslide victory. He emphasized improving their separate booths and exceeding the previous turnout by 370 ballots. He made this pledge in public.
Ramesh Awasthi stressed that the BJP is distinct from other parties since it is founded on ideas. He insisted that the BJP had never compromised its values. Unlike other parties, who are primarily concerned with attaining power, the BJP prioritizes the nation over the party. Non-BJP parties seek to place their families in power rather than to advance national growth.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is known by his unwavering dedication to the nation. Throughout his ten-year career, he never took a single day off. His vision includes both worldwide and national challenges, but he also prioritizes local concerns at all levels of the organization. That is why, wherever I travel, I try to explain to the public that Modi lives in Kanpur’s heart, and Kanpur holds Modi in its own.
Before filing his nomination, Ramesh Awasthi went to the Paramt Temple with all of his supporters, seeking Baba Anandeshwar’s blessings and pouring holy water from the Ganges on Lord Bholenath. He then invoked the blessings of victory using suitable procedures.
As they left the shrine to proceed with the nomination, journalists encircled them. In response to journalists’ questioning, Ramesh Awasthi declared that if he wins, Kanpur will be ranked among India’s top five developed cities. He promised that the election would be one-sided this time. Once more, the lotus will bloom on Kanpur’s parliamentary seat. The Prime Minister’s goal for a developed India will be realized.
Keshav Maurya bolstered workers’ morale from the platform, encouraging them to build the party at the booth level. During this time, senior Lok Sabha candidate Ramesh Awasthi was joined on stage by Akbarpur Lok Sabha candidate Devendra Singh Bhole, Prem Lata Katiyar, Satish Mahana, Satyadev Pachauri, Neelima Katiyar, all MLAs, regional president Prakash Pal, state vice president Devesh Kori, both district presidents, and all organization officials.
