New Delhi: Postmortem report confirms rape with minor sisters and then murder in the Lakhimpur Kheri case.
In Lakhimpur Kheri, the post-mortem report of the dead bodies of both the minor sisters has come. The report states that this was a clear case of rape and murder. According to the Lakhimpur Kheri police, both the sisters were first raped. After that both were strangled to death. The bodies of both the sisters were hanged on a tree to make the murder look like suicide. At the same time, the police handed over the bodies to the relatives after the post-mortem.
Minor were murdered by strangulation
According to the information, Lakhimpur Kheri police said that the post-mortem of both the bodies has been done. According to the post-mortem report, both the sisters were raped. After this, the accused strangled both of them to death. Then the dead bodies were hanged on the tree.
At the same time, it had come to the fore in the past that two of the six accused who were caught in front of the police had admitted that they had raped both of them. District SP Sanjeev Singh said that this investigation report has been prepared on short notice. The matter is being investigated in detail.
Police started camping the area since night
In view of the seriousness and sensitivity of the incident, the state government had sent IG Laxmi Singh to Lakhimpur Kheri in the night itself. She said, “All possible help will be provided by talking to the victim’s family. Strict action is also being taken against the accused.”
At the same time, the SP told that it has come to the fore in the preliminary investigation, the girls had gone with the boys of their own free will, but the family alleges that the boys had abducted them. This is also being investigated.
Victims were taken forcibly from the house claims family
The victim’s father told the news agency ANI about the whole incident. He had alleged that, “accused had taken away my daughters from the house. One of the accused had entered the house by climbing over the wall. After that they committed the crime. I want justice. All the accused should be given capital punishment.”
Six accused arrested, one shot in the leg
These accused already knew the victim sisters. Lakhimpur Kheri SP Sanjeev Suman told about the incident that a total of 6 accused involved in the crime have been arrested in different ways. They have been identified as Chotu, Junaid, Sohail, Hafizul, Karimuddin and Arif. The accused Junaid has been caught by the police in the encounter, during which he has been shot in the leg.
The SP said that the accused were friends of the girls. Sohail and Junaid took the girls to the fields and raped them. It has come to light that Sohail, Hafizul and Junaid strangled them to death when they resisted the forced actions of the accused. They then called Karimuddin and Arif and hanged the girls to destroy the evidence.
