Ahmedabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a two-day visit to his home state Gujarat from today. PM Modi will be visiting Gujarat today and tomorrow. PM Modi will inaugurate the 300-metre Atal Bridge connecting the eastern and western banks of the Sabarmati river in Ahmedabad today. PM Modi will also participate in other programs in Gujarat during his visit.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has a program in Kutch on August 28. Prime Minister Modi will visit Smritivan in Kutch. The Prime Minister will address a public meeting after inaugurating the Kutch Smritivan. Along with this, the Prime Minister will also do Bhoomi Pujan of 11 development projects and launch schemes from here.

The Atal Bridge, built over the Sabarmati River in Ahmedabad, will be the first foot over bridge in the country to be built across a river. The footover bridge will provide multi-level car parking and connectivity to the proposed Art and Cultural Exhibition Center on the East Coast from the plaza located between the Flower Park and the Event Ground on the West Coast. It is worth noting that the assembly elections in Gujarat are due later this year. Therefore, the election campaign in the state intensified from now on. This visit of the Prime Minister is also being linked to the preparations for the Gujarat elections.
