Film on Chandrayaan 3: After India’s ambitious lunar mission ‘Chandrayaan 3’ succeeded, a lot of the directors started competing to make a film on the success story of the historic mission. Some producers have started registering their respective film names. Meanwhile, Mission Mangal director Jagan Shakti has announced to make a film on ‘Chandrayaan 3’.

Jagan Shakti, director of Akshay Kumar’s film, in an interview with Dainik Bhaskar, said that he will make a film on ‘Chandrayaan 3’ with the team of Mission Mangal. However, whether Akshay Kumar will be in this film or not, has not been confirmed yet.

Mission Mangal director said that he would not let go of this opportunity and said, “At the moment I am considering the story of the film.” Will take input from my elder sister before deciding on the story. She is a Senior Scientist in ISRO, the director further said.

Produces rushed to register name

Not only, Jagan Shakti, but many other filmmakers and production houses are also in the race to make a film on the Moon mission. According to media reports Various producers and production houses have applied to register the film’s name at the Mumbai offices of the Indian Motion Picture Producers Association (IMPPA), Producers Guild of India, and Indian Film and Television Producers Council (IFTPC). However, only a few of these producers will be given permission to make a film on it.

In an interview with the media, an IMPALA official said, “Next week we will review all these applications and then give permission to some producers to make films. This permission will be given to those who we find genuine.”
