New Delhi: Former Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satyapal Malik made explosive comments against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to emphasise that the two can go to any extent to gain political advantage.

In an interview with Newsclick, Malik said PM Modi is a dangerous person who can even orchestrate an attack at Ram Mandir or get any top BJP leader killed as a part of his vicious tactics to get political advantages.

“Someone as Capable of Causing Pulwama Attack” 

Asserting on PM Modi’s ruthless electoral tatctics, Malik reffered to 2019 Pulwama Attack that he claimed caused by PM Modi deliberately, saying “someone as capable of causing such incidents can do anything for acheiving political objectives.”

In his comments, Satyapal Malik said that “PM Modi knows how to rule and how to rule ruthlessly.” He said it is better for him to quit now as he will not be successful in 2024 General Elections.

Silenced by PM Modi over Centre’s lapses 

Earlier, Malik had argued as he mentioned that he was told to stay silent over Pulwama Attack. The former governor made the comments in an interview with The Wire where he mentioned that the CRPF convoy had asked for aircrafts to ferry their people but Defence Ministry denied.

He said when he confronted the same to the PM Modi saying that the loss of jawans’ lives was “our fault” and we could have stopped them by permitting the aircrafts. To which, PM Modi responded by silencing him on the lapses that led to the attack. Malik was the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir in 2019 when the attack took place.

Manipur Violence Fuelled By Government

Meanwhile, Malik also mentioned the Manipour violence alleging that the government is fuelling the mayhem in the state by providing them arms and weapons. As he was asked how can he be so confident on the statement, he said the weapons that are being used in the violence are not easily accessible to the common man.

He cited that Insas Rifles are not available in the market but in the government’s infantry. However, he also junked the claims that crowd looted a huge amount of weapons in Manipur.
