Lok Sabha 2024: Congress Releases 7th List; Fields Azahar Mollick From Uluberia

According to the list, Pradip Biswas has been nominated by the party to contest from the Bangaon-SC constituency, while Azahar Mollick will be the candidate from Uluberia. Furthermore, Dr. Papiya Chakraborty has been selected to contest from Ghatal.

Lok Sabha 2024: Congress Releases 7th List

Congress on Sunday announced the names of three candidates who will contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections from West Bengal. Notably, this is the 7th list of candidates released by the grand old party.

As per the list the party fielded Pradip Biswas from Bangaon-SC constituency, while Azahar Mollick will contest the polls from Uluberia. Additionally, Dr. Papiya Chakraborty will fight from Ghatal.

The Congress party unveiled its sixth list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections on March 25. The list features four nominees for constituencies in Rajasthan and one for Tamil Nadu.

Ramchandra Choudhary has been named as the candidate for the Ajmer Lok Sabha seat, Sudarshan Rawat for Rajsamand seat in Rajasthan, and Dr. Damodar Gurjar for Bhilwara. Additionally, Prahlad Gunjal has been selected for the Kota seat, while C. Robert Bruce has been nominated for the Tirunelveli seat in Tamil Nadu.

This announcement follows the release of the party’s fifth list, which included three candidates, just a day prior.

The general elections 2024 are slated to take place into seven phases commencing from April 19, while the counting of votes is scheduled on June 4.
