New Delhi: Former Congress chief Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday addressed the media from Hosiarpur from Punjab during a short break from the Bharat Jodo Yatra.

  • My ideology does not match with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Varun Gandhi. Few years ago, he told me that RSS is working for nation’s development. Then, I asked him to read family history. I said you would not have said this, if you have known our family history: Rahul Gandhi
  • “I never said “Godi Media”, it’s not my phrase. I said that the media is being controlled. Congress’ philosophy is of a free media. We (Congress) do not have a capabilty to control the media. We want a fair media.”

  • “Farmers will be our prime focus if we ever come to power in the Centre. Our vision is agricultural-centric,” says Rahul Gandhi.
  • “They (Bharatiya Janata Party) will divide the country, spread hatred in the country but we (Congress) will continue to open “Mohabbat ki Dukaan” everywhere. There are many “dukans” opened across the nation.
