Leaders calls Akhilesh to inquire about his father’s health

New Delhi: Union minister Rajnath Singh, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath called up Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav to inquire about his father and party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav’s health.

Former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mulayam Singh Yadav was shifted to the ICU of Medanta Hospital in Gurugram on Sunday after his health deteriorated, the party said.

Akhilesh Yadav, daughter-in-law Dimple Yadav and other family members, including Dharmendra Yadav, reached the hospital in the evening.

In a tweet in Hindi on Sunday, Rajnath Singh said, “On getting information about the ill health of former Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mulayam Singh Yadav, I talked to his son Akhilesh Yadav over the phone and inquired about his well-being. I pray to god that he gets well soon.”

 

UP CM tweeted: “Today, while talking to the former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav over the phone, inquired about the well being of his father and former Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav. Praying to Lord Ram to grant his speedy recovery.”

“The news of ill health of Mulayam Singh ji was received. I wish him a speedy recovery,” Rahul Gandhi said.

Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra tweeted, “We are all concerned to hear about the deteriorating health of Mulayam Singh Yadav ji and are praying for his speedy recovery.”

In a tweet from its official Twitter handle, the Samajwadi Party said his condition is stable.

“Respected Netaji is admitted in ICU, his condition is stable. It is a humble request to all of you that please do not come to the hospital. Information about Netaji’s health will be given to you from time to time,” said SP.
