New Delhi: While repeating her popular statement “Khela Hobey”, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee Thursday asserted that the Opposition will not let the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) come into power in 2024.
The WB CM said, “In 2024 we will play a game that will start from Bengal. Hemant (Soren), Akhilesh (Yadav), Nitish (Kumar), I and other friends will unite then. How will they (BJP) form government then? There’s no need for BJP government.”

The CM also took a dig at the Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying that soon ‘Man ki Baat’ will turn into ‘Mann ki Vyatha’.
“The BJP’s arrogance of 300 seats will be its nemesis. There will be ‘Khela Hobe’ in 2024,” she added.

It is worth noting that Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo Mamata Banerjee actively participated during the Presidential Elections 2022. Banerjee had convened several meetings of the ministers and leaders of Opposition to come along for choosing a joint candidate.
