Improvements have been made in the area around Duttipath and Central Vista Avenue to deal with the traffic problem. Along with this, facilities like public toilets, drinking water, street furniture and ample parking space have also been developed.
This avenue is a 1.8 km long stretch of duty path and also has lawns along its side between India Gate and Vijay Chowk.
The project includes four pedestrian underpasses, eight amenity blocks, relaying of Rajpath, construction of paths in lawns, improvement of canals and 16 permanent bridges over it.
