Karnataka Results 2023 Live Updates: The results of the elections hel for 224 Assembly seats in Karnataka will be coming shortly. The counting of votes will begin at 8 am at 36 centers in the state. 2,615 candidates are in the fray. The picture is expected to be clear by afternoon.

In the polling held on May 10, the voter turnout till 6 pm was 73.19 per cent, the highest ever recorded in the southern state. There were 11.71 lakh new voters who voted for the first time, who are in a decisive role.

The magic number of majority for the state Assembly is 113 seats. At present, there is a direct contest between the Congress and the BJP. At the same time, JDS is calling itself the kingmaker.
