Amritpal Singh: Chief of ‘Waris Punjab De’ Amritpal Singh has once again given a big controversial statement. He has refused to consider himself an Indian citizen. Amritpal said in an interview with a news agency that I am not an Indian citizen. He said that a passport is merely a travel document, it does not make one an Indian citizen.

After the incident took place in Anjala,  Amritpal has come on the radar of security agencies. There are about 35 accounts with his name on Instagram. In these, the Instagram account with a blue tick has been suspended. 

“Khalistan is common in Punjab, The Supreme Court also said that it is not a crime. Sangrur’s MP also says Khalistan Zindabad,” said Amritpal

CM Bhagwant Mann breaks silence on the Ajnala incident

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has broken the silence on the ‘Ajnala incident’. In this regard, he tweeted that those who carry the word Guru Granth Sahib to the police station cannot be called the ‘heir’ of Punjab and Punjabiyat from any side.

What is the Ajnala incident?

Thousands of supporters of 30-year-old Amritpal Singh, chief of ‘Waris Punjab De’, created a ruckus at Ajnala police station in Amritsar. He also reached there with armed men to release his accomplice Lovepreet Singh ‘Toofan’. Amritpal Singh also threatened PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah.
