Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his visit to Kanker in Chhattisgarh, addressed a rally where he fervently targeted the Congress. However, a touching moment occurred when he spotted a schoolgirl in the crowd holding up a sketch of him. Pausing his speech, PM Modi called out to the girl from the stage.

He said, “I have seen the picture, my dear. You’ve done an incredible job. You have my blessings. But you must be tired of standing for so long. Please, take a seat. I request the police personnel to collect the sketch from the young girl and ensure it reaches me. Kindly write your name and address on it. I will certainly write you a letter.”

Following PM Modi’s request, the police officers present noted down the girl’s name and address and took the sketch from her.

The talented girl behind the sketch is Akanksha Thakur, a fifth-grade student. She put in three hours of hard work to create the sketch overnight, with the hope of getting a photograph with PM Modi. Her wish, however, went unfulfilled. Akanksha expressed her feelings, saying, “Everyone was saying that PM Modi would come here. I made a sketch for him, and he mentioned that he would write me a letter.”
