New Delhi: Following the discussion of Rahul Gandhi’s T-shirt, TMC MP Mahua Moitra has jumped in with bang. The Krishnanagar MP launched a scathing attack on BJP amidst the ongoing ‘T-shirt row’.

Mahua Moitra Tweeted targeting the Khaki shorts worn by the members of the RSS. She wrote, “Forget bags and T shirts- Indians are busy paying the price for all the khaki shorts…”

In another tweet, Mahua Moitra wrote, “Seriously advise BJP to not cross line & comment on Opposition’s personal clothes & belongings. Remember if we start doing the same with watches, pens, shoes, rings & clothes BJP MPs wear, you’ll rue the day you stated this game.”

The BJP had earlier targeted Mahua Moitra for her ‘expensive’ Louis Vuitton bag.

Mahua Moitra’s remarks came after the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) claimed that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was wearing British luxury brand Burberry’s T-shirt worth over Rs 40,000 during his Bharat Jodo Yatra.

Meanwhile, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel told the media that while the Congress is working to bring the country together, the ruling party is still stuck in T-shirts and khaki shorts.

Rahul Gandhi on Saturday started the fourth day of his nationwide Bharat Jodo Yatra from Mulgumudu in Kanyakumari. Rahul Gandhi on Friday announced that he is undertaking the Bharat Jodo Yatra in an effort to connect with the people.
