New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal claims that the Center has put a hold on the Delhi government’s budget to be presented in the Assembly on Tuesday. Kejriwal has accused the Central Government that till now the budget of Delhi has not been approved by the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Central Government.

Kejriwal said, it is necessary to get the approval of the Central Government for the budget of Delhi, only after this process, the budget is being presented in the House. CM Kejriwal said this in a private channel program and claimed that Delhi’s budget was to be presented on Tuesday i.e. March 21, which will not be presented without approval.

The budget session of Delhi started on March 17 and the budget was to be presented on March 21. Newly appointed minister Kailash Gehlot had to present the budget, but now according to the claim of the Kejriwal government, the budget will not be presented on Tuesday.

According to sources in the central government, in the proposed budget of the Delhi government, less attention was given to the issues related to infrastructure, health, and common people and more emphasis was given to advertisement.

It is for this reason that the central government had asked the Delhi government to reform the budget and send it again. But according to sources, the Delhi government has not yet sent the revised budget, due to which the approval has not been given.
