80 cases of Covid in 24 hours

The coronavirus cases reduced considerably in the country. For the last one month, there is a continuous decline in the Corona graph. As compared to Sunday, a decline has been recorded in the daily cases of corona in the country even today. Today 80 new cases of corona have been reported in the country. While there is news of the death of a single person due to corona infection during this period. Earlier on Sunday, 109 new cases of corona had come in the country on Sunday, while there was news of death of one person due to corona infection. That is, today 29 fewer new cases of corona have been reported as compared to yesterday.

Covid-19 on decline in India

According to the data released this morning (30 January 2023) by the Ministry of Health, 80 new cases of corona infection were reported in the country in the last 24 hours. During this, there is no news of death of any person due to corona infection. While during this period 74 people managed to beat the corona virus infection. With this, the number of active cases of corona has increased to 1 thousand 848 in the country. In the last 24 hours, an increase of 6 has been registered in the number of active cases.

The number of Covid infection in country is 4,46,82,719

With this, the total number of corona infected in the country has increased to 4 crore 46 lakh 82 thousand 719. While the number of people getting cured has increased to a total of 4 crore 41 lakh 50 thousand 131. At the same time, a total of 5 lakh 30 thousand 740 people have died due to corona virus infection in the country.

  • Total infected till now – 4 crore 46 lakh 82 thousand 719
  • Total discharge till now – 4 crore 41 lakh 50 thousand 131
  • Total deaths so far – 5 lakh 30 thousand 740

According to the information given by the Union Health Ministry, the number of people recovering from corona is increasing continuously. Now the recovery rate in the country has increased to 98.81 percent. The daily positivity rate is 0.11% and the weekly positivity rate is 0.08%. While the death rate remains at 1.19 percent. Whereas active cases comprise 0.01 per cent of the total infections. According to the information available on the Ministry’s website, about 220.45 crore doses of anti-Covid-19 vaccines have been given so far under the nationwide vaccination campaign.

On August 9, 2020, the number of people infected with the corona virus in India had crossed 20 lakhs, on August 23, 2020, 30 lakhs and on September 5, 2020, more than 40 lakhs. The total cases of infection crossed 50 lakh on 16 September 2020, 60 lakh on 28 September 2020, 70 lakh on 11 October 2020, 80 lakh on 29 October 2020 and 90 lakh on 20 November. On 19 December 2020, these cases had crossed one crore in the country. Last year on May 4, the number of infected had crossed two crore and on June 23, 2021, it crossed three crore. On January 25 this year, the total cases of infection had crossed four crores.
