Adar Poonawalla, CEO of the Serum Institute of India (SII), commended India’s fight against the Covid epidemic on Sunday. He stated that the government and health personnel have made significant contributions to the country’s response to the outbreak. These remarks were made by SII’s CEO at the inauguration of Bharti Super Specialty Hospital in Pune.

“Today, everyone is looking to India, and our Covid management is one of the key reasons for this,” he stated. All of this is due to the government, health staff, and a shared purpose of limiting the infection.”

“I have travelled all around the globe,” Poonawalla stated, “but the Covid situation in India is better than anywhere else.”

Fadnavis lauds Serum Institute

“We have witnessed the job done by the Serum Institute team, and the world has also seen how powerful India is,” Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis tweeted. We are really pleased of this leadership and team!”

“Adar Poonawalla, we always wanted to thank you,” Fadnavis wrote. The entire country wants to thank you. So, on behalf of the entire country, we thank you for saving us!”

Mansukh Mandaviya made appeal to people

Earlier, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya urged the people not to panic despite the ongoing worldwide Covid outbreak, but to be attentive and follow the Centre’s advice. According to the Health Minister, the government is on high alert and is making all necessary steps to avert the outbreak.

He stated that when new instances and varieties of Covid arise, individuals should not be alarmed and should only trust information supplied by government sources to avoid hysteria.
