After the predictions of the exit polls 2023, Former Chhattisgarh CM and BJP leader Raman Singh on Thursday expressed his confidence in saffron part’s win and said that the party will form government with a clear majority.

Taking to the media, Former Chhattisgarh CM Raman Singh said, “The BJP is poised to secure a strong majority to form the government. By December 3, the results are anticipated to reveal Congress falling below 35 seats, even failing to reach the 40-seat mark”, Singh said.

Former CM and BJP leader Raman Singh remarked on the exit polls, stating, “The exit poll clearly indicates a significant surge for the BJP. From 15 seats, our tally has surged to 48 seats. I am confident this number will surpass 48, likely reaching around 55-56 seats, enabling the BJP to form the government with a comfortable majority… Some apprehensive voices are raising concerns about ‘Operation Lotus.'”
Opinion polls on Chhattisgarh suggest a Congress victory. According to India Today Axis My India, Congress is poised to secure 40-50 seats, BJP 36-46, and Others 1-5. ABP C Voter predicts 41-53 seats for Congress, 36-48 for BJP, and 0-4 for Others.

Times Now-ETG forecasts an estimated win of 48-56 seats for Congress, with BJP expected to secure around 34-36 constituencies, and other parties likely to garner two to four seats. Conversely, India TV CNX projects Congress to secure 56-46 seats, while BJP is anticipated to acquire 32-40 seats.
Meanwhile, Assembly elections in Chhattisgarh were conducted in two phases on November 7 and November 17, 2023, aiming to elect all 90 members of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly. The process of counting votes and announcing the results is scheduled for December 3, 2023.
