New Delhi: Mafia Atiq Ahmed’s son Asad and Ghulam’s son Maqsudan was killed on Thursday in an encounter with Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force in Jhansi district of Uttar Pradesh.

The police had announced a reward of five lakh rupees each on each of them in the Umesh Pal murder case of Prayagraj.
Meanwhile, Atiq Ahmed who is the prime accused in the matter will be presented before the CJM Court in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.
There was an encounter with the UPSTF team led by DSP Navendu and DSP Vimal in Jhansi. The police said that foreign-made weapons were recovered.
