What are the allegations of APP MLAs?
The AAP MLAs are demanding the resignation of Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena for allegedly converting black money into white during demonetisation in 2016.
Speaking to news agency ANI, AAP leader Atishi alleged that Saxena had pressurized his employees to exchange old notes worth Rs 1400 crore in 2016, when he was the chairman of the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC).
“Saxena had done a scam to convert black money worth Rs 1400 crore into white during demonetisation in 2016, when he was the chairman of Khadi and Village Industries Commission. We are demanding the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to investigate the matter,” Atishi said.

What allegations did the BJP MLAs make?
Meanwhile, BJP MLAs are demanding the resignation of Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia over corruption in the excise policy of 2021-22.
BJP MLA Ramvir Singh Bidhuri told ANI that Sisodia was accused of corruption in the 2021-22 excise policy, which was later withdrawn by the AAP administration. If all was well with the liquor policy, why did the government withdraw it? Arvind Kejriwal needs to answer.
“We want an explanation from Kejriwal as to why he is running away from answering questions when there have been several scams where the Kejriwal administration has been accused of indulging in corruption,” he said.
Responding to AAP’s protest and demand for LG Saxena’s resignation, Vijender Gupta said it was nothing but their fear as they were entangled in corruption. They said they were scared because they were exposed as corrupt. Be it Delhi excise policy or Delhi education, corruption has been committed.
