PM Modi Attacks INDIA Over ‘Shakti’ Remarks

Hitting back at ex-Congress president Rahul Gandhi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday stated that the INDI alliance wants to destroy ‘Shakti’ and the attack on it is an attack on women, daughters, Maa Bharti.

Addressing a public rally in Karnataka, PM Modi stated that the leaders associated with the INDI alliance want to destroy this ‘Shakti’ in the country.

He asserted that they hate the increasing shakti of Maa Bharti. “The ‘Vaar’ (attack) on Shakti stands for an attack on women, daughters, Maa Bharti”, PM said.

On Sunday, while addressing the closing rally of the Yatra, Rahul Gandhi took aim at the NDA regime, drawing parallels between them and the potent symbol of Hinduism, ‘Shakti,’ often associated with Maa Durga. He declared the opposition’s fight against this symbol.

He said that on the day of the counting of votes of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024, INDIA will get to know the meaning of ‘Shakti’. “4 June ko ko pata lag jayega ki Shakti ko lalkarne ka matlab kya hota hai”, PM stated.

PM Modi accused the Congress of resorting to any means to gain power, alleging that the party still adheres to a “divide and rule” mentality inherited from the British colonial era.

Modi asserted that the grand old party historically divided the nation along lines of caste, community, religion, region, and language in its pursuit of power.

PM claimed that despite past divisions, the Congress continues to pursue divisive tactics, exemplified by recent statements from a Karnataka Congress MP openly advocating for further division.

He criticized the Congress for not reprimanding the MP and instead shielding him, vowing that Karnataka would not tolerate such divisive politics and conspiracies.
