New Delhi: The Sidharth Malhotra, Ajay Devgn, and Rakulpreet Singh starrer Thank God is ready to hit the theatres on October 25, 2022. Amid the controversies and legal trouble, it will be interesting to see how the film performs at the box office. Apart from the film being a Diwali release, will also face a tough clash with Akshay Kumar’s Ram Setu.
While looking at the advance booking report, it does not seem likely to see an outstanding opening. The advance booking for Thank God, which opened on Friday, made 0.72 crores on Monday morning. The film sold 28,000 tickets overall. It is looking at collecting 1 to 1.2 cr nett in advance booking till evening. Unfortunately, it is less than what Ram Setu collected on the same day.

Thank God has sold 12,000 tickets worth Rs 42 Lakhs approx in the national chains PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis and 28,000 tickets all across. In PVR alone Thank God has sold 6200 tickets.
On Sunday, the Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra starrer sold 8200 tickets worth Rs 28 Lakhs approx gross in the top multiplexes PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis for the opening day.
Well, early trends in advance bookings show Ram Setu ahead of Thank God. The Akshay Kumar starrer has collected worth Rs 11.10 lakhs on Day 1 of Advance Booking. Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra starrer on the other, sold tickets worth 8.20 lakhs.
About the movie
The story revolves around an egoistic real estate broker (Sidharth Malhotra). He meets with an accident only to find himself in the heaven. Chitragupt (Ajay Devgn) appears in front of him and plays a “GAME OF LIFE”- if he wins, he will be sent back to earth. If he loses, he will be cast to hell.
