Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan is soon going to make her debut with Zoya Akhtar’s  ‘The Archies’. Now-a-days, the whole cast along is busy promoting the film. During the promotions of the film, Suhana praised actor Alia Bhatt for re-wearing her wedding saree for the National Awards that were held in October this year. She called Alia’s decision “incredible” and a “much-needed message”.

Suhana said “Alia wore her wedding saree again for the National Awards and I think as somebody with a platform, who has an influence, I thought that was incredible and a much-needed message,” She later added that Alia did that and took a stand towards sustainability. If she can re-wear her wedding saree then everyone can also repeat an outfit for a party.

The clip soon went viral on social media and the audience started trolling her for her statement. Reacting to the video, a user wrote “These kids are so far from real world”, while another user commented “when will they understand.”

Alia Bhatt wore the saree from her wedding day when she received the Best Actress National Award for her film, ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’. She shared the award with Kriti Sanon, who won the award for the film ‘Mimi’.

‘The Archies stars Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, Mihir Ahuja, Vedang Raina, Khushi Kapoor among others. The film is slated release on Netflix on 7 December 2023.
