Selfiee box office collection day 8: With his career, Akshay Kumar is having a difficult time right now. The actor has produced five straight box-office duds. Selfiee, which debuted in theatres on February 24, 2023, was the most recent. Together with Emraan Hashmi, Diana Penty, and Nushratt Bharuccha, Khiladi Kumar appeared in the film. 

Mrunal Thakur made a guest appearance in the song with Akshay in the Raj Mehta film. The movie’s box office performance got off to a very sluggish start. At barely Rs 3 crore, it had Akshay’s weakest box office debut ever. In the ticket window, it takes longer and longer.

The Raj Mehta-directed movie lost more money at the box office on day 8 despite earning Rs 95 lakh on day 7. On its eighth day of release, the film starring Akshay and Emraan made less than Rs 1 crore. Early trade estimates indicate that Selfiee only brought in Rs 35 lakh at the box office.

About Selfiee

The film hit theatres on February 24. The film’s plot revolves around Bollywood superstar Vijay Kumar, who wants to obtain a new driver’s licence from an RTO officer. Unfortunately, a misunderstanding causes a battle of words between the two. It finally escalates into a feud in front of the entire country. The film is produced by Star Studios in collaboration with Dharma Productions, Prithviraj Productions, Magic Frames, and Cape Of Good Films.

Hiroo Yash Johar, Aruna Bhatia, Supriya Menon, Karan Johar, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Apoorva Mehta, and Listin Stephen produce. The film also stars Diana Penty and Nushratt Bharuccha in addition to Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi. It is a remake of the Malayalam film Driving Licence, which was released in 2019 and starred Prithviraj Sukumaran and Suraj Venjaramoodu.
