New Delhi: Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday’s Liger is all set to have an OTT release on 22 September 2022. The MMA-based movie marks Vijay’s Bollywood debut and Ananya’s Telegu debut. Released on 25th August 2022, the film did miserably bad at the box office.

Liger also stars Ronit Roy, Makarand Deshpande, Ramya Krishnan, and Vishu Reddy. The film has been directed by Puri Jagannadh. Liger also has a cameo done by legendary boxing champion Mike Tyson, however, the movie’s weak storyline failed to grab eyeballs.

Liger OTT release date, time, platform

The movie is all set to make its OTT release today. It will available to watch only on Disney + Hotstar from September 22 midnight. Taking to its Twitter handle, Disney+ Hotstar Telugu, wrote, “Witness @TheDeverakonda in all his Mad Glory, as #LIGER! #LigerOnHotstar Streaming Now”.

Even Ananya Panday took to her Instagram handle and posted a story sharing the poster of Liger OTT release.

It is to be mentioned that the movie will be available in south Indian languages like Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. If reports are to be believed, Liger OTT Hindi will be released later on various platforms.

Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday’s movie Liger has flopped at the box office and isn’t doing well in the Telugu or Hindi markets. Liger’s third day earnings in the Hindi Belt and Telugu-speaking States were only about Rs. 4.60 crore and Rs. 12 crore, respectively. Additionally, the movie is not doing well abroad; it only made about Rs 2 crore in the US.

Early projections place Liger’s Day 3 worldwide earnings at around Rs 21. 3 crore, which is a significant setback for a movie with such broad appeal. The updated Day 4 statistics suggest that the film has raked in approximately Rs 5.50 crore on its first Sunday
