New Delhi: Renowned fashion designers Kunal Rawal and Arpita Mehta exchanged vows in a fairytale wedding ceremony on August 28 in presence of their close friends and family. Before taking the big plunge, the couple courted for over a decade. Several celebrities, including Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora, Anshula Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Natasha Dalal, Mohit Marwah and Antara Marwah, among others, attended Kunal and Arpita’s wedding.

While pictures of the couple from their wedding ceremony have been going viral on the web since last night, the groom himself has now taken to his Instagram space to share first pictures from his wedding. Sharing the photos, Kunal wrote: “This weekend was all heart, I married the best girl and was celebrated by the most amazing people. To new beginnings!” While Arpita captioned them: “This weekend was all heart, I married the best boy and celebrated with my most amazing people. To new beginnings!”

The couple was showered with wishes and blessing in abundance for their new journey. Janhvi Kapoor shared Kunal’s post on her Instagram stories and wrote, “So cute. Congratulations and wishing you a life time of adventures. Love, Happiness and laughter.” Tara Sutaria wrote: ” only love to you both… Still so upset I couldn’t make it!!!!!” Malaika, who was in attendance at the wedding, re-shared the duo’s photos and wrote: “Congratulationssss my darlings @arpita__mehta @kunalrawaldstress … #finally… May ur hearts n life always be filled with laughter n love…(p.s the most stunning bride )” Rhea Chakraborty’s comment read: “Congratulations love,” while Sophie Choudry said, “Congratulations you guys! Before tying the knot, the couple also hosted a celebrity-studded cocktail party on Friday for their friends and associates in the film fraternity. Many celebrities attended the bash, including Janhvi Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani, Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor, Ishaan Khatter, Anil Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, and Karan Joha among others.
