New Delhi: Major fame Adivi Shesh on Thursday took to his Twitter to announce the release date of his upcoming crime thriller HIT 2. This will mark the sequel to the blockbuster flick HIT. The original movie starred Vishwak Sen as the lead actor.
According to the latest update, the sequel HIT 2 will be available to the audience on the 2nd of December this year. Taking to Twitter, Adivi wrote, “HEAT. December 2nd. #HIT2onDec2 in theatres only.”

During a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Adivi Shesh revealed how he got this opportunity. He said, “HIT 2, it was just offered to me. Nani called me up, he is a dear friend and I love him as an actor. He just offered me the film and said they want to go much bigger than HIT 1. And so that’s how I got on board for the film.”
The movie HIT 2 is backed by Prashanti Tipirneni and Nani under his production house Wall Poster Cinema.

The movie will star Menakshii Chaudhary, Rao Ramesh, Bhanu Chander, Posani Krishna Murali, Tanikella Bharani, Srikanth Maganti, Komali Prasad in prominent roles, along with the rest.
Directed by Sailesh Kolanu, the background score has been provided by John Stewart Eduri. The original flick revolved around a police officer Vikram, who worked for the Crime Investigation Department (CID). While HIT was set against the backdrop of Telangana and dealt with the case of a missing girl, the sequel on the other hand will be set in Andhra Pradesh.
