New Delhi: Dhanush took to Instagram to share the first look poster for Captain Miller, his forthcoming film. According to sources, the film is an action-adventure movie set in the pre-Independence era. Arun Matheswaran’s Captain Miller is a period piece set in the 1980s.
Dhanush took to Instagram on June 30 to share some intriguing images from his forthcoming flick. Arun Matheswaran of Rocky and Saani Kayidham fame directs the film. The poster depicted Dhanush standing against a shattered background with fallen soldiers. As the solitary survivor of the war, the Raanjhanaa actor is seen wielding a gun in his gruff avatar.

About the film
Captain Miller is a period action film set in the 1980s, written and directed by Arun Matheswaran. Dhanush, Shiva Rajkumar, Priyanka Mohan, Nivedhithaa Sathish, John Kokken, and Moor will all play major roles in the film. The film is scheduled to be released in theatres in 2023. The music was written by GV Prakash Kumar.
