The film reunites Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani as each other’s love interests. Bhool Bhulaiya 2 paired them together previously. Boxofficeindia.com reports that the film has collected between Rs 8.5 crore and Rs 9 crore on its first day. It remains to be seen how the film performs on Day 2 now, which is a Friday.

Box Office India reported, “Satyaprem Ki Katha picked up on the first day to record decent collections of around 8.50-9 core nett as per early estimates. The pick up was likely as its a holiday for Eid so banks and schools are shut in most states. This actually would have been a good collection if it came without the Eid holiday factor.”

Supriya Pathak Kapur, Gajraj Rao, Siddharth Randheria, Anooradha Patel, Rajpal Yadav, Nirrmite Saawaant, and Shikha Talsania round out the cast.
