New Delhi: Amitabh Bachchan has tested positive for COVID-19. The Bollywood superstar announced the news on his Twitter account late Tuesday night. He asked everyone who had come into contact with him in the previous few days to take precautions and get tested. “I have just tested CoViD + positive.. all those in my vicinity and around me, please get yourself checked and tested as well (sic),” Big B tweeted.

In July 2020, Amitabh Bachchan tested positive for the novel coronavirus. He was transferred to Nanavati Hospital, where he remained for more than two weeks. At the time, his son, Abhishek Bachchan, tested positive for Covid.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Amitabh Bachchan was last seen on the big screen in Ajay Devgn’s Runway 34. He is currently seen on Sony TV’s game show Kaun Banega Crorepati 14. His upcoming films include Oonchai, Brahmastra and Goodbye.
