CUET UG Result 2022: DU’s cut off expected to go high, many students score 100 percentile

CUET UG Result 2022: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the result of The Common University Entrance Test, Undergraduate (CUET UG) on September 16, 2022, at 4 am. This year, almost 20,000 students have secured 100 percentile in 30 subjects in the examination. 

According to NTA data, here is a list of subjects in which students have scored 100 percentile:

  • English: 8,236
  • Political Science: 2,065
  • Business Studies: 1,669
  • Biology: 1,324
  • Economics: 1,188
  • History: 893
  • Hindi: 875
  • Accountancy: 422
  • Geography: 326

With the number of students scoring 100 percentile increasing, the cut-off for admission to various colleges and universities including Delhi University will be high. This year, around 90 universities including 44 central universities are participating in CUET UG.

Number of Application received 

This year, DU received 6,63,776 applications, BHU has received 4,34,140 and Allahabad University received 2,62,488 applications. Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University in Lucknow has received 1,80,569 applications, Jamia Millia Islamia has received 1,44,134 applications, and Jawaharlal Nehru University has received 67,546 applications.

Till last year, admission to DU’s UG courses was done on the basis of cutoff marks based on class 12 board exam scores.
