New Delhi: According to the Regional Weather Forecasting Centre (RWFC), New Delhi predicted that the city would witness rainfall for the next four days starting Friday due to moisture intrusion from Cyclone Biparjoy. The possibilities of partly cloudy skies with very light rain or drizzle at one or two places along with a 30–40 kmph wind speed.
On Friday, the maximum and minimum temperatures in the national capital are forecast to be approximately 38 degrees and 27 degrees Celsius, respectively. The maximum temperature in Delhi had dropped on Wednesday, but the weather remained hot and uncomfortable and felt worse than it did the day before, as rising humidity combined with loo flushing raised the “real feel” temperature to 51 degrees Celsius. Later that night, areas of the city had mild to moderate rain with gusty winds.
Kuldeep Shrivastav scientist at IMD said, “From Thursday afternoon, we can expect drizzle and light rain, with the maximum to dip to around 39 degrees on Friday too, some light rain is expected with the maximum to be around 38 degrees Celsius.”
